The most memorable vacation I ever took was a trip toChicagoduring Christmas with my relatives, enjoying these holydays, and visiting very interesting places. It was two years ago when my family and I decided to visit my sister, and her family, who have been living inChicagoIllinoisfor 15 years. We flew fromLos Angelesand we were excited about meeting again because at that time we haven’t seen them for more than 5 years. Diego, my 8 year old son had haven’t seen the snow ever so on the plane he was very anxious and excited to get there to discover how the snow likes. He was always asking to the plane crew for the time left to get ready for landing inChicago. When we arrived there, we realize an extreme change in the weather. First of all we found an extremely low temperature, and the city completely covered of snow. Then we could feel the strong wind blowing through the streets. Everybody cheered and cried of happiness when wee saw our family again since long time ago. it was very emotive. Once every thing was settled at my sister’s home we planed the activities to do during our stay. The next day I was surprised when I woke and saw my son and his cousins building a big snowman in the backyard. We went downtown and saw a magical holiday celebration in The Magnificent Mile district Witness the spectacular lighting of one million lights and thousands of ornaments alongNorth Michigan Avenueculminating in a magnificent fireworks show over theChicago River. Then we were ice skating in the Millennium Park Ice Rink where I fall on the ice several times, it was so funny. That we visited many interesting places such asLake Michigan, Navy Pier, and The natural History .
